Bobby Goswami, General Partner, ABS Capital Partners

Bobby Goswami is a general partner at ABS Capital Partners where he focuses on investment opportunities in the technology and business services sectors. Since joining ABS, Mr. Goswami has worked with leading technology solutions providers in the portfolio such as OTG Software, Inc. (now EMC Corporation), Double-Take Software, Inc. and Emptoris, Inc., helping these companies to refine their business strategy, address new markets and position themselves for liquidity. Prior to joining ABS, Mr. Goswami was a member of the Alex. Brown Technology Investment Banking Group, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. In all, he has nearly ten years of investment banking experience with Alex. Brown, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs in equity and fixed income financing, as well as M&A. Before entering investment banking, Mr. Goswami spent four years in the systems practice at Andersen Consulting. Mr. Goswami graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.


Steven Horan,Chief Executive Officer, RenewData

As CEO, Steven Horan leads RenewData's strategic and financial growth. Mr. Horan was appointed to the post of CEO after joining RenewData in January of 2008 as CFO. Mr. Horan brings over 20 years extensive experience with capital markets, IPO's, mergers and acquisitions, strategic execution, global operations, leadership development, complex negotiations, and corporate governance to RenewData. Mr. Horan joined RenewData after eight years as EVP and CFO of Arsenal Digital Solutions which was recently purchased by IBM. Mr. Horan recently won the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Technology Companies in North Carolina and South Carolina and previously served as an executive at Dainippon, Seer Technologies, and senior manager at PriceWaterhouse Coopers where he earned his CPA. Mr. Horan is a graduate of Wake Forest University where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in the School of Business and Accountancy with a minor in Computer Science.


Phil Clough, Managing General Partner, ABS Capital Partners

Phil Clough is a Managing General Partner at ABS Capital Partners whose investment interests and experience include business services companies. In addition to serving on RenewData's board, Mr. Clough represents ABS Capital on the boards of American Public Education, Inc., eFashionSolutions, LLC, Payformance Corporation, Rosetta Stone, and Restaurant Technologies, Inc. Prior to joining ABS Capital, Mr. Clough was CEO and President of SITEL Corporation, the global leader in providing outsourced call center services to large corporations. While at SITEL, Mr. Clough grew both revenues and EPS significantly, as well as established relationships with corporations such as GM, America Online, Siebel and IBM. From 1990 to 1997, he was in the Investment Banking Group at Alex. Brown & Sons Incorporated, leading their business services efforts, where he advised clients on M&A transactions and equity and debt offerings. Mr. Clough served in the United States Army from 1983 to 1988, and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.


Mark Hastings, Managing Director, CIBC Capital Partners

Mark Hastings focuses on equity investments in enterprise software and tech enabled services. Prior to joining CIBC Capital Partners, Mr. Hastings was a General Partner at BCI Partners, a multi-stage venture capital firm focused on investments in software, communications, technology enabled services and media. Prior to that, Mr. Hastings spent several years at Edison Ventures, an early stage technology venture capital firm as a member of the investment team providing growth capital to software and communications companies. Mr. Hastings is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Economics program at Colorado College and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.


Michael Clurman, Vice President of Operations, Washington Post

Michael Clurman possesses more than 30 years operations, production and business planning experience. Mr. Clurman has been Vice President of Operations at The Washington Post for eight years and is responsible for production operations, engineering, information technology and large capital projects. In this position, he has directed the transformation of the technology structure, including the design and implementation of an enterprise system from SAP, implementation of a structured governance process, standardization of technology platforms and implementation of service oriented architecture. Mr. Clurman joined The Washington Post in 1971 as an apprentice printer and shortly thereafter became an Assistant to the Vice President of Operations where he was responsible for the operations analysis group. In 1981 Mr. Clurman was promoted to Plant Manager at The Post's Springfield Plant, and he later became the Vice President of Production where he was responsible for operations management. While Vice President of Production, Mr. Clurman was appointed Chairman of The Post's Futures Committee with responsibility for driving The Post's Capital spending strategy. Mr. Clurman graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Business Administration and attended the PMD Program at Harvard Business School. He has served on the Industry Advisory Board of Rochester Institute of Technology and serves on the Technology Advisory Board of the Newspaper Association of America.


James Blayney, President, Rust Consulting

James Blayney brings years of diverse general management experience in business services firms including leading traditional services, and start-up ventures, with a notable achievement record in areas of strategy development and implementation, as well as financial, analytical and information management. Mr. Blayney is the president of Rust Consulting, Inc. specializing in claims administration and consulting for the legal profession, where he is responsible for strategy development and execution. Prior to joining Rust Consulting, James Blayney held key executive positions at the notable CPA and business consulting firm RSM McGladrey, Inc and McGladrey & Pullen, LLP. There he was responsible for the consulting practices, investment banking, retirement plan administration and wealth management practices for the entire firm. Mr. Blayney is also an active member of the advisory board of The Marthens Company providing his expertise on business strategy and finance matters. Mr. Blayney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Central College, a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Daniel J. Gardner, Founder, RenewData

Dan Gardner is one of the original founders of RenewData. He has a long history of technical leadership, strategic planning and is a results-oriented entrepreneur. Gardner began his career with an engineering position at Ontrack Data International. He then launched his own business, Progressive Data Recovery, focused on data structures, data recovery and related forensics for their corporate clients. Gardner has been in a technical leadership role beginning with the company's inception through its growth and maturation. Gardner holds a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a bachelor's degree in mathematics from St. John's University.
